Milk el regreso de Gus Van Sant a territorio galardonable es una apuesta segura y eficaz, Gran Torino el haz bajo la manga de Clint Eastwood que como sucedió años anteriores con Million Dollar Baby, recorre un camino en completo silencio y aislamiento para finalmente posicionarse como la gran ganadora del Oscar, y por ultimo la película mas taquillera del año, la siempre admirada The Dark Knight, es casi imposible verla caer en esta categoría.
